An Inclusive Event
Designed to be inclusive, the Assises aim to provide an environment where everyone can feel valued and respected. Accessibility measures, support services, as well as tailored resources are made available to ensure that every participant can fully benefit from the event.
Safe space
The program of the European Conference on Combating Violence Against Women aims to name, understand, denounce, and counter the violence women endure. The content may trigger trauma or make you uncomfortable. We remind you that you can leave the room or space at any time.
You will find a safe space at the event location. This is a place you can go to if you need some quiet or wish to talk with individuals trained in handling gender-based and sexual violence. If needed, you will find a compassionate and attentive ear there. A team of trained volunteers will also be present throughout the venue to support you if you wish.
